Many of these dogs are housed in animal control facilities with limited space, so time is critical. 

The following dogs are not part of the ARPH program. All information has been

provided by the private individual or group, not affiliated with ARPH, that is the

caretaker of the dog. Anyone using this information is responsible for

determining whether the information about these dogs is accurate. ARPH has

no obligation, responsibility or liability with respect to the adoption and

placement of the dog. These dogs are merely being listed by ARPH on this

page as a service in the hope of aiding with their placement and avoiding

unnecessary euthanasia.

Dallas area

CLEO is a 7-year-old red tri spayed female Aussie, docked tail. She is housebroken, lays down and comes when you call her, sits for treats, fetches balls. She is a very loving dog and listens very well. She is great around other dogs, nice to strangers. She is great alone in the house, car, and yard, great on a leash as well. JET is an 9-month old black tri Aussie mix. He is good with other dog (goes to the dog park frequently) and is good with cats.  He has been around kids at the dog park but would do best with older kids because he likes to jump on people and could knock a little one down. Jet is good in the house. He would be a great agility prospect and needs an active home. He loves to play ball and play with toys. BEAU is a 3 year old male blue merle. He needs an experienced Aussie or herding dog owner with great leadership skills. He will try to be dominant when you first meet him but once he learns that his handler is the one in control, he will submit and is very eager to follow leadership and commands. He thrives on trying to please people and also does well with other dogs. Beau is an awesome Aussie and will make a great companion if he is given adequate exercise in addition to further training. He suffers from separation anxiety but is currently being treated for it with medication therapy and behavior modification. Fushear

Bobbi is an approx. 2-year-old neutered male black tri Aussie with a full tail. He was found and his current owner has not had any luck finding his owners. He is housebroken and now up to date on vaccinations and on a heartworm preventative. He lives with 2 other dogs and is fine. Gatesville

Lola is a two-year-old spayed female red merle Aussie who is deaf, full tail, about 40 lbs. She is housebroken & crate trained,  current on vaccinations & heartworm preventative. She is an indoor dog and goes out long enough to use the bathroom and play with the other dogs. She does well with children and other animals. Harker Heights 

TYLER is a 3 1/2 year old neutered red tri male Aussie. He weighs about 65 lbs and has a docked tail. He is housebroken and crate trained and gets along with other dogs. Tyler is up to date on vaccinations and is on a heartworm preventative. Tyler is the perfect dog. Remy is a 4-year-old blue merle neutered male, about 56 lbs, docked tail. He loves to talk walks and play fetch. He does not live with other dogs, but is okay with them while out on his walks. He has lived with small children. He is on a heartworm preventative and is up to date on vaccinations. Dixie is a 2-year-old spayed blue merle female Aussie, docked tail, about 55-60 lbs. She is good with other dogs but would probably be best living as an only dog because she likes a lot of attention. Tyler

 Rocky is a 7-year-old red tri male with a docked tail, weighs about 65 lbs. Princess is a 8-year-old  black tri female with a docked tail, weighs about 75 lbs. Both dogs are good with other dogs and live with kids now but would be best in a home without children. Their owner is moving and would like to find a home for them together.  They have been shaven for the summer.
